WARNING!!!! Tears will be shed . . .

Don't worry--not your own tears. So the kids and I were stuck in the house for 6 hours today without power, so we got a little bored. I tried to keep the kids entertained, but they got sick of me pretty quickly. It was actually kind of nice not having the ability to use the TV as a fall-back plan, but it was frustrating that I couldn't open the garage door to go anywhere (we were trapped!!) and that I couldn't use any of my appliances (well, this was good in the sense that I had an excuse to put the dishes and laundry off for another day!). The best thing about the whole thing was that because the freezer had no power for six hours, we HAD to finish off the chocolate-fudge chunk ice cream so it wouldn't melt and be ruined, right?!?!!!! Overall, I was surprised at how little of an effect having no power had on my day--I guess I don't use as much power as I thought! Anyway, amidst all of our efforts to stay entertained today, I captured Cambelle's lovely emotional side on video. Like I have said before, she really is so sweet and cute and funny, but if she's mad, she sure lets you know it! Literally, all that happened to bring on this emotional outburst was that she tried to sit down and Cooper was in the way. He quickly moved, but it was too late--the beast had already been released. (As you will see, I do egg her on a little bit by telling her "no"--just to keep her going for the camera!). You've got to love girls!!!!

Alexa was in the other room and came running in when she heard a baby crying...she loved the video even though she was sad the "baby" was crying. "more baby, more baby" was what she said until I played it again :) Good job getting through the power outage.

That's awesome. Your videos are the best. I've got to figure out how to do videos on our blog, but the ol' Nikon doesn't do such technological things as that. Anyway, that is a pretty awesome video.

Mackenzie was completely enthralled by that video. You can't help but love Cam's gorgeous pouty lip!! I don't remember us being that emotional at that age, but I guess I should just look in the mirror and know that it is just inevitable that both Mackenzie and Cambelle would be just like that!:)

Cute family (this is Emily now). I can't watch the video because of the old dial up but I have seen Cambelle in action - Such a cutie!!

Oh, Lisa, this is precious, though I imagine Cambelle wouldn't agree. GG was talking to your aunt Marie on the phone when I played it. They were trying to figure out where the crying was. Marie was hearing it on the phone. GG came over to look and loved it. I's so grateful for DSL so I can see the videos. I feel like I'm right there

I love your blog! As a newcomer to the blogging community, I see I have a lot to learn about keeping up a with the Jones'! :-) I can't believe how big Campbell is getting - such a cutie but yes, girls will be girls and it only takes one little thing to change their moods...but they're just so cute we can't help but love them.

I was showing Grandma your site because I just saw the picture of Cooper sleeping in the chair. What a guy. He looks so comfy?????
I showed her the whole movie and noticed Cambelle's pony tails. They are so cute.
