It may just be a dandelion . . .

but it will always be special to me.

Excuse me while I have a cheesy parent moment, but I thought it was so incredibly sweet and I just had to share.

The other day, Cooper picked a dandelion while we were walking home from the park and he informed me it was for Ben. When we got home, he ran upstairs to give it to Ben and as he handed it to him he said,

"This is for you Daddy. This is for love."

Coop was so excited and so proud.

Today, while we were playing outside, I received my own dandelion from Cooper, once again "for love."

He is such a sweetheart.

And on another exciting Cooper note, he is now riding a bike all by himself. He is so proud because not only does he not need the training wheels, but he also no longer needs us to give him a push to start. It's so exciting to have your child conquer new skills.

If you haven't heard Five Iron Frenzy's Dandelions, now might be a good time to check it out.Oldie but a goodie.

Don't worry about taking a cheesey parenting moment. We have to take them, they make up for all the chaotic/crazy/pulling my hair out moments in between.

I'm impressed with Coop on the bike. Abbie is getting one for her birthday and we'll see how it goes.

Coop is such a sweetheart (if he is like Dax he doesn't want to be called one though).

Nice work about the bike, he and Dax are peas in a pod!

"This is for love" has got to be one of the sweetest, most meaningful phrases ever uttered. And a dandelion. I love dandelions, too.
