Christmas is almost here!

Christmas is almost here and I AM NOT READY! Man, it has been SO busy around our house the past few weeks, especially with the move. But, amidst it all, we have found a little bit of time to have some fun. Well, if you call watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" 57million times a day fun, then we've been having more than a little bit of fun!!! Cooper fell in love with the show within 2 seconds of seeing it. And Cambelle who usually doesn't pay much attention to what's on tv has developed a love for it too, as you can sort of see in these videos. They really don't demonstrate fully her true excitement when "the Grinch" comes on, but you can get a general idea! (And I must say, I do not enjoy hearing myself on these videos. I know everyone always says this, but is that what I really sound like?!?!?!)

We also had the chance to go to Ben's team's basketball game last week. His team was pretty good this year and he has some awesome players. Even though I know it's one more thing on his already full plate, I think he really enjoys coaching overall and has fun getting to know his players. Anyway, this is the one lonely picture I have of his entire two years of coaching. I know it's nothing special, but I was a bit of a slacker when it came to picture taking. I actually only went to a couple games this year. It's just too hard with two kids--there are always tons of people there and I don't want my little cosmos of energy to disturb everyone else trying to watch the game. You would be so shocked at how seriously people take junior high basketball up here in Davis County! I was so surprised, but I must admit it makes it a lot more fun and probably more rewarding for Ben because people actually care. Good job Falcons on a great year and you're an awesome coach Ben!!! (For those who can't tell, Ben is the one leaning forward on the right.)

Last weekend we took the kids to see Santa Claus. They've actually seen him multiple times this year already, but RCWilley was offering free pictures with Santa, so we went. You can't pass up free!! The picture wasn't anything spectacular, but it was better than this one that we took ourselves. Oh well! As you can see, Cambelle wasn't too thrilled about having to sit on this strange, hairy man's lap. Cooper, however, loves to sit on Santa's lap. And every time Santa asks him what he wants for Christmas Cooper quickly replies "CANDY!!!" Santa always laughs and tries to pry a better answer out of him, but Cooper never budges on his decision of candy. And the best part of it is--Cooper always gets what he wants for Christmas right then and there when Santa hands him the obligatory candy when he's done. Coop probably thinks this is the greatest set-up in the whole world--a sweet, jolly guy who gives you exactly what you ask for (candy) every time you visit him!

I love your posts. You do such a good job at letting people get to know your kids. They are so cute. I love the video clips. That is awsome Ben is doing what he always wanted to do--Coach. And the Santa picture is cute. That story of Cooper is hilarious.

I want to see your home! It looks so nice, and we aren't that far away from eachother!
